Frans Khoase Masekoa is the Managing director of Phoka Forensics and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with over 20 years of experience in the field of security and Investigation. He has worked in different fields including private security, policing (SAPS) and in the private sector for blue-chip companies.
He has sound knowledge of investigation and security methods both criminal and civil, the experience obtained through the years has seen him conduct work for companies in the Transport and logistics industry, Insurance, mining, and private persons for Labour-related matters, investigation, and security advisory services.

Frans did military training with the South African Police Service and holds an NQF 7 Degree in policing from the University of South Africa, A second NQF7 qualification as a Certified Fraud Examiner with the International Association for Certified Examiners. He also holds Health and Safety Training (SHEMTRAC no.076) and Layered Voice Analysis 6.50 operator training.

Worked as a Senior Operations Manager and Investigations for an Automotive and Logistics business managing Close Protection services for executives, security advisory services, facilities and Investigations. For an Insurance Company as a Specialist Investigator Mutual & Federal Insurance investigate fraud on claims submitted. Worked as a private contractor for different security companies including doing Close Protection Services and working as a health and Safety officer. He was a detective with the South African Police Service and worked in different units including but not limited to Murder and Robbery, the Provincial House Breaking Task Team, and the tracing unit.

Phoka Forensics specializes in a range of services, including the development of fraud awareness strategies, threat risk assessment, training in conducting whistle-blower-related investigations, and other investigations into financial misconduct. The company also has experience in coordinating executive protection services. Upon conclusion of investigations, Phoka Forensics provides detailed reports with recommendations to assist clients in their internal processes, which may include disciplinary inquiries.
